About Me

My name is Octavian Norman. I was born and raised in the small town of Edenton, North Carolina. Since childhood, I have been heavily influenced by pop culture, including video games, comic books, and animated films. After graduating from John A. Holmes High School in 2014, I decided to attend the Art Institute of Charlotte to pursue a career in animation.

In March 2018, I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Media Arts & Animation.

From 2020 to 2023, I co-created HeadKanon, a comedic yet informative podcast focused on pop culture news, discussions, and commentary.

In 2023, I began my journey as a photographer, specializing in street, studio, and documentary photography. My passion for photography started when I discovered street photography—the art of capturing every day, authentic moments that often go unnoticed or are overlooked. Since then, I have developed a deep appreciation for documenting these moments and sharing them with the world through my work.
